Does the UV light really kill 99.9% of germs?
Yes, the UV-C light our devices use is clinically proven to disinfect 99.9% of surface bacteria.

How long does it take for the brush head to dry in the base?
Please make sure the base is plugged in at all times and the brush is seated properly, shaking off any excess moisture before putting it back into the base. The drying time of the brush will take 2-6 hours.

How long does the handle’s battery stay charged?
The UMMA handle is equipped with a long-life rechargeable battery that can last 2-3 weeks between charges when brushing twice a day.

How can I tell if the UV cleansing light is working properly?
To test that the UV light is working, press the weight-activated foot on the base.  You should see a light blue/green glow emanating inside the base. The handle needs to be docked during this process.

How can I tell which brush mode I am in?
To change brush modes, press the smaller button on the brush handle.  You should see a smile icon varying between large and small indicating the deep clean and sensitive mode.
